Tinyuka Taxi Moto (TTM) is at the forefront of driving change in Kigali. Launched in 2022 in collaboration with GIZ and Ampersand LTD., we are a pioneering initiative dedicated to empowering women by breaking barriers in the moto taxi industry.
Our mission? To empower women with confidence to thrive as moto taxi drivers in Kigali’s vibrant streets.
There are over 130,000 professional moto drivers in Rwanda. Less than 50 of these are operated by women. Our Journey So Far: In a remarkable journey of growth and empowerment, over 40 women have been empowered and guided through the rigorous process of obtaining their moto taxi driving licenses. These determined women are not just ready to navigate the roads; they’re set to redefine them.
